Take on a meaningful role where you’ll make a real difference in a child’s life, session by session.

  • What Does a Behavior Technician Do?

As a Behavior Technician (BT), you’ll work one-on-one with children to provide ABA therapy in various settings, helping them build new skills and reach their goals. You’ll follow a customized plan created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), using fun and effective teaching strategies. It’s a meaningful role where you’ll make a real difference in a child’s life, session by session. No experience yet? Don’t worry—we provide paid training to get you started!

  • Why This Work Matters

Being a Behavior Technician isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to change lives. Every session you lead helps a child take steps toward greater independence, communication, and confidence. You’ll celebrate big wins and small breakthroughs, knowing your support makes a lasting difference for families. Whether it’s helping a child say their first word or learn a daily routine, the impact you make is real, powerful, and deeply rewarding.

  • What You’ll Need to Get Started

Education: A high school diploma or GED is required. Some locations may ask that you’ve completed at least one semester of college or are currently enrolled.

Experience with Kids: At least 6 months of paid or volunteer experience working with children—or any experience with ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is a big plus!

Reliable Transportation: You’ll be traveling to clients’ homes, so you’ll need a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a dependable way to get to sessions.

Bonus Points: If you’ve had personal or professional exposure to individuals with autism or special needs—through family, friends, school, or work—we’d love to hear about it!
