Carly Lapin is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Her greatest passion in life is working with individuals with disabilities and helping them maximize their full potential. Carly considers herself a clinician, researcher, and most importantly, an advocate. As a clinician, she specializes in the assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior such as tantrums, aggression, self-injury, and property destruction. Carly has an abundance of experience with toilet training, food selectivity, and teaching necessary skills to facilitate IEP goals. As a researcher, she has conducted research with children with autism and methods to increase rapport in therapeutic settings. In addition, she is currently in a doctoral program working towards her PhD in behavior analysis. As an advocate, Carly believes it is necessary to collaborate with teachers and various therapists in a child’s life. Carly enjoys attending IEP meetings and helping children transition into the least restrictive environment to facilitate learning.
