Tammy Jackson has worked within the Human Service arena for over 20 years and is a passionate leader with a record of developing innovative, quality programs that enhance services. Ms Jackson worked for the May Institute Inc., supporting adults and children with ASD, Developmental and Intellectual disabilities and mental health challenges for residential supports, early intervention and in home ABA supports, while working on her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis. As a Director at The Institute of Professional Practice, Tammy had many notable contributions which included the development of new and innovative programming that successfully combined mental health practices, trauma informed modalities and Applied Behavioral Analysis across both the Adult Services and Foster Care Programs. As the Director for the Community and Residential Services division, she created an environment that fostered, self advocacy skills, person centered supports and planning and human rights education and practices. Her expertise lies in taking a multi-modality approach to treatment- by valuing the core belief – that ‘one size does not fit all’ and that most treatment modalities can support one another to promote the most successful outcomes.. Tammy received her BA in Psychology from Mount Holyoke College and her MA in Applied Behavior analysis from Westfield State University and acquired her BCBA in 2009.
