Taeja Kluge earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a secondary teaching credential in Social Science from Pepperdine University in 2005. She went on to earn her Master’s degree in Education from Walden University in 2010, a Graduate Academic Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in 2012 and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2013. Taeja began her career as a Behavior Therapist with Pacific Child and Family Associates (now Autism Learning Partners) in 2008. Since then, Taeja has progressed through various roles until becoming a Clinical Director in 2013. In 2018, she agreed to move to New Mexico to take on the leadership role for ALP-NM in Albuquerque. Taeja has supported a wide range of ages, functioning levels, and diagnoses, including multiple diagnoses such as Visually Impaired/ASD, Hearing Impaired/ ASD, TBI, and Cerebral Palsy/ ASD. Taeja is trained in ABA using Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Verbal Behavior (VB), Pivotal Response Training (PRT), and Natural Environment Training (NET) methods. She is motivated to provide the families she serves with opportunities to engage in community activities they may not otherwise try, such as skateboarding with the Askate Foundation: “Seeing parents’ faces light up while watching their child skateboard, when they had never considered it a possibility, is indescribable and keeps me going day to day!” Taeja is excited about her role in helping the children and families of Albuquerque and the surrounding areas to discover all of the wonderful possibilities that await them through the benefits of ABA therapy!
