Kathryn Glass
Kathryn “Kate” Glass is the Associate Clinical Director for the North Carolina region. She began her career in ABA at Autism Learning Partners in 2019. She started as a behavior technician and was promoted to trainer, supervisor, then director. She quickly found passion in her work and developed her knowledge and skills by gaining her Master of Science in ABA therapy at National University. She has worked in a variety of settings from homes, the community, schools, daycares, and centers. Kate focuses on creativity and play to encourage the growth of her clients. She values honest communication and collaboration with her staff and families. She is motivated to respect her science in support of her community.

Once the referral and insurance verification is obtained, the evaluation process typically takes 1-2 weeks.
Does my child need an autism diagnosis to get ABA services?
Insurance companies will authorize Applied Behavior Analysis services when a child has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). If your child does not have a diagnosis of ASD, you can choose to pay for services privately.
What are the next steps now that my child has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder?
If your child has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, our team is here to support your family every step of the way. Should you choose to pursue Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, we’ll help you navigate the approval process, starting with a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), which identifies the reasons behind your child’s behaviors and lays the foundation for a personalized treatment plan.
Can my BT drive my child around, if needed?
No. Your Behavior Technician can accompany your family for a clinically recommended trip in a family vehicle. BTs are prohibited from driving the child in any vehicle, even if a parent or guardian is present in the car.
