Casey Ogburn
Casey Ogburn is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Clinical Director for the Charlotte and Hickory regions of ALP. Casey received her bachelor’s degree in Child Development from Peace College in Raleigh, NC and her master’s degree in Psychology from University of North Carolina – Wilmington. Casey has been involved in ABA since 2014 where she started as an in-home behavioral therapist. She has experience across multiple settings, including clinic, school, community, and home. She has worked with children ages 2-18 and loves building relationships with families and celebrating successes along the way. In her free time, Casey can be found hanging out on the baseball field with her husband and two sons, Steele and Rooke.

Once the referral and insurance verification is obtained, the evaluation process typically takes 1-2 weeks.
Does my child need an autism diagnosis to get ABA services?
Insurance companies will authorize Applied Behavior Analysis services when a child has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). If your child does not have a diagnosis of ASD, you can choose to pay for services privately.
What are the next steps now that my child has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder?
If your child has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, our team is here to support your family every step of the way. Should you choose to pursue Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, we’ll help you navigate the approval process, starting with a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), which identifies the reasons behind your child’s behaviors and lays the foundation for a personalized treatment plan.
Can my BT drive my child around, if needed?
No. Your Behavior Technician can accompany your family for a clinically recommended trip in a family vehicle. BTs are prohibited from driving the child in any vehicle, even if a parent or guardian is present in the car.
