Courtney has worked in education for more than 15 years as a Special Education teacher, a consultant for multiple early childhood programs, and a manager of clinical staff. She has always had a passion for special education and Autism specifically, having worked with clients and families from birth through adulthood in a variety of placements. A large focus of Courtney’s career has centered around parent and caregiver training, providing highly individualized support to caregivers to strengthen client progress. She is also the author of “Inclusion Practices for the Early Childhood Educator” which provides strategies for caregivers working with children with special needs in early childhood settings. She is very excited to open ALP in Washington State and looks forward to working with you!

Sophia (Sophie) Katz has her BCBA and LBA in the state of Washington with over 5 years of experience in the Applied Behavior Analysis field. Sophie has her B.S. in Psychology at Allegheny College and her M.S. in Behavior Analysis from Simmons College. She has experience working in home, severe behavior, school & community settings and center-based services. She has worked with individuals with multiple diagnoses with varying ages (2-22 years old). She has a passion for staff development and training and finds the dissemination of best practices/ABA as an integral part therapy for children and families. She values a collaborative and team-based approach when working with staff, the treatment team, and families. She is so excited to be part of a growing region in Washington and looks forward to providing quality services to children and their families.

We continue to work with insurance companies as they begin to cover ABA services. If you don’t see your insurance provider on our list, give us a call to see if we accept your specific plan or can arrange for a single case agreement.
