Integrating social skills techniques into the daily life of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder - is a workshop designed for families who are looking for methods of teaching and sustaining social skills with their children of whom have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other related behavioral disorders.

Absent or weak social skills is an area that affects many children with ASD. The ability to communicate effectively, respond to social cues, and understand the rules of the game, etc. can impact a child’s ability to engage appropriately with peers.

This workshop is designed to help caregivers who have children that are currently struggling with engaging in appropriate social interactions with peers across various settings. Our team of behavioral specialists will provide strategies for caregivers on how to help children be successful in social situations in order to develop age-appropriate peer relationships.

Navigating Autism Services - The Importance of Early Intervention - is a workshop designed for families with newly diagnosed children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Birth to Five Early Intervention Providers. Within the last decade, there has been a rise in children diagnosed with ASD (1 out of 59 children).

With the increase of ASD diagnoses, there is an urgent need for parents and early intervention community providers to understand resources available and the importance of accessing services for newly diagnosed families.  Starting early intervention services during the early years of development is crucial in order to support a child’s progress and prepare them for a successful trajectory.

Because the early years of a child’s life are critical in brain development, it is vital for parents and providers to understand the available evidenced based practices, such as Applied Behavior Analysis, and the appropriate service options and treatment settings available.
